چکیده
Abstract Purpose Evaluating sediment fingerprinting source apportionments with artificial mixtures is crucial for supporting decision-making and advancing modeling approaches. However, are rarely incorporated into research guidelines model testing currently lacking. Here, we demonstrate how to test using laboratory virtual by comparing the results from Bayesian bootstrapped Materials methods Laboratory ( n = 79) known proportions were created soil samples two catchments in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Soil sieved at 63 µm analyzed colorimetric geochemical parameters. The MixSIAR framework a mixing (BMM) used estimate contributions mixtures. In addition, proposed demonstrated use of multiple evaluation metrics report on uncertainty, residual errors, performance, contingency criteria. Results discussion Overall, there negligible differences between mixtures, both models. comparison BMM illustrated trade-off accuracy precision results. more certain solutions encompassed lesser proportion values, whereas markedly less precise. Although performance declined single contributing greater than 0.75 material, models represented general trends identified their major sources. Conclusions Virtual as robust assessing if analytical errors negligible. We therefore recommend always include part process. Additionally, highlight value that consider results, importance reporting uncertainty when apportionments.

Sediment fingerprinting to determine the source of suspended sediment in a southern Piedmont stream.
Thousands of stream miles in the southern Piedmont region are impaired because of high levels of suspended sediment. It is unclear if the source is upland erosion from agricultural sources or bank erosion of historic sediment deposited in the flood plains between 1830 and 1930 when cotton farming was extensive. The objective of this study was to determine the source of high stream suspended sed...
متن کاملSelecting Color-based Tracers and Classifying Sediment Sources in the Assessment of Sediment Dynamics Using Sediment Source Fingerprinting.
The use of sediment color as a fingerprint property to determine sediment sources is an emerging technique that can provide a rapid and inexpensive means of investigating sediment sources. The present study aims to test the feasibility of color fingerprint properties to apportion sediment sources within the South Tobacco Creek Watershed (74 km) in Manitoba, Canada. Suspended sediment from 2009 ...

The most important goal of health systems is improvement of quality, effectiveness and efficiency of health services. To achieve this goal, health care organizations should establish a proper structure for evaluating health information systems. Health information system evaluation is expected to identify the existing problems of the system through measuring specific indicators. The main objecti...
متن کاملDetermining Land Units Contributions to Suspended Sediment Yield Using Sediment Fingerprinting Method (Case Study: Tull Bane Basin, Golestan Province)
Fingerprint method is one of the new methods to determine the contribution of suspended sediment in the land units. In this method, a suitable composite (set) of diagnostic properties and a multivariate mixing model are employed to estimate the relative contribution of sediment sources to sediments transported to watershed outlet. This research carried out in the Tull Bane watershed with 3278.9...

A disability assessment for non-therapeutic reasons is the most common evaluation requested of treating psychiatrists. Mental disorders affect approximately 20 percent of Americans each year. People who are unable to work need some financial assistance. As part of the system, it's our goal to assist them in this process. When a disability claim is filed, psychiatrists take into account the indi...
